Unfortunately a person traveling from USA was found to have corona virus infection. A test was made on arrival to Iceland 17. June that was negative but a few days later found positive despite no symptoms. In the US she had met a person that later tested positive. In the meantime from arrival to Iceland she had met a lot of other people. Extensive testing and follow up is now being made to find and isolate other persons that might have been infected.
Due to this fact and to try to lessen the risk of spread of virus infection we urge people to contact us before coming to the Health Care Centre. We have for the time being stopped electronic appointments in Heilsuvera.
